NETWORK ENGINEER (DATA)

Strategic Staffing Solutions International client – Barclays – with operations in more than 50 countries and 155,000 colleagues internationally, is looking for NETWORK ENGINEER (DATA).

Requirements

• Proven knowledge and expertise of specific technical platforms:
• Detailed knowledge of all major components of network infrastructure - e.g. Cisco routers and switches, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of the TCPIP protocol Suite, VLSM, IP address allocation;
• In depth detailed knowledge of the other major routed protocols;
• Experience of WAN routing technologies;
• Proven experience in designing and implementing network solutions;
• Cisco certification (CCIE/CCNP/CCNA) is preferred.
• Aware of the history of networks and can explain how it came to be as it is;
• Solid knowledge of all the major components in a vendor's solution;
• Good English skills.
