Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough reviews of agreements to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies;
Provide legal support to various departments within the organization;
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and other legal documents;
Stay up-to-date with legislative developments, particularly in AML challenges;
Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures;
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
Perform legal research as needed.

What we expect:

Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification;
2-3 years of relevant work experience in a legal or compliance role;
Strong understanding of legal principles and contract law;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Latvian; proficiency in other languages is a plus;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills;
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively;
Familiarity with AML regulations and compliance practices is preferred.

We are a back-office solution provider for leading FinTech companies all over the world. Our business is expanding, and as we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Lawyer to join our team.

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Lawyer to support our legal and compliance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including agreements review, legal support, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements and documents. Furthermore, keeping abreast of legislative changes and navigating the complexities of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) issues will constitute an additional responsibility in this position.
