Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of agreements to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies;
- Provide legal support to various departments within the organization;
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and other legal documents;
- Stay up-to-date with legislative developments, particularly in AML challenges;
- Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures;
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
- Perform legal research as needed.
What we expect:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification;
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a legal or compliance role;
- Strong understanding of legal principles and contract law;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Latvian; proficiency in other languages is a plus;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Familiarity with AML regulations and compliance practices is preferred.
