I-Work Group

The customer of I-Work is an international manufacturing company. Currently the Key position that need to be filled is

Lead and develop a project team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and according to project specifications;
Ensures the conformity of the product design and compliance to regulatory standard, customer needs and manufacturing technical capability and capacity;
Prepare the recommendations about necessary innovations in the manufacturing technology to ensure efficient production of the high-quality product;
Analyze the opportunities to implement innovative technologies in the production, prepare the implementation projects of the appropriate machinery or tools, define the financial, time and human resource costs and present and confirm it with the Plant Manager;
Ensure on-time and efficient implementation of product and process industrialization projects (including prototype development management, new technology implementation), respecting the set deadlines, priorities, regulations and demands from all interested parties;
Collaborate with Sales and Field Engineering Teams and use feedback received for further development of the product and required production adjustments to be implemented;
Fulfil any other tasks related to the scope of the position thus fostering the core values and principles of the organization.

Knowledge of metal-processing manufacturing processes, incl., mechanics, electronics, electricity and automotive fields;
Higher education in engineering or related technical field;
Experience in team management is required;
Knowledge of LEAN principles;
Very good project management skills;
Fluent in Latvian and recommended very good English (both oral and written);
Very good computer skills MS Office and knowledge of AutoCad, SolidWORKS or similar);
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong analytical abilities and capabilities to use them practically;
Proactive attitude, flexibility and openness to changes.
