About the projects:
Our customers are the UKs leading Insurance companies that are supported by two dedicated teams. The insurance business has a high level of complexity that allows us to grow together with our customers and provide high-level professional services. Our development and support teams in Latvia are delivering both new features and projects based on new modern technologies. Our customer values the quality of our services and keeping it on a high level.

Due to growth, we are looking for a PMO to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Be the right hand and trustee of the Delivery manager;
  • Responsible for planning, monitoring, maintaining & operating the project Information System (workload planning, project budget, plan vs. actual, invoice lifecycle, etc...);
  • Coordinate between the project units (Architects, Developers, QA, etc..);
  • Prepares and manages project documentation (workload forecasts, invoices, internal & external reports, presentations for clients, and stakeholders);
  • Responsible for identifying needs and allocating the appropriate resources to meet project goals (project timeline, resource allocation, budget control);
  • Responsible for raising flags and being a gatekeeper based on project needs and priorities;
  • Coordinating and scheduling client visits.

Requirements:
  • Experience in project management operations or project activities such as planning, control and budget tracking etc.;
  • Understanding of fullend-to-end SDLC, from development to production;
  • High analytical skills, that are proven with experience in problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills;
  • Budget management experience (project costs, revenues, resource planning, and forecast, tracking budget gaps);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in team coordination and support as well as client-facing and collaborating with other departments (finance, HR, etc.)
  • Presentation skills with the ability to create & deliver presentations effectively;
  • Deep knowledge of Excel and all Office applications;
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Latvian;
  • Ability to work independently and prefer a fast-paced working environment;
  • The role requires working on-site with limited opportunities for a hybrid work module;
Considered as an advantage:
  • Relevant background in software global companies;
  • Experience with Redmine/Jira or other alternative tools as well as Agile framework;
  • Previous involvement with the creation of work plans, project scopes, and capacity planning.
