Client

DataArt's client is a technology company with focus on the products that helps institutional investors with secured acquiring, trading and safeguarding their cryptocurrency holdings.

Project overview

The aim of the project is to expand the client's development team for the creation of cryptocurrency products.

Technology stack

Java/Scala, PostgreSQL

Responsibilities

Play a crucial role in the engineering team, actively participating in all phases of product and feature development, including conceptualization, architecture, development, release, iteration, and support.
Develop backend services for new features and provide support for existing product lines
Establish integrations with traditional financial services providers and third-party systems
Contribute to code reviews, architectural decisions, and agile practices within the team
Address and resolve issues raised by clients and stakeholders

Requirements

Proficient in Scala application development
Strong background in software engineering
Familiarity with both object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming paradigms, as well as design patterns
Knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
Understanding of the importance of unit testing and experience in building automated tests for server-side code
Ability to prioritize tasks, discern between major and minor issues, and focus on resolving critical issues promptly
Experience in building microservices using Java or Scala is advantageous
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
