MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, the global container shipping market leader through continual investment and innovation, extensive fleet, dedicated staff, and intermodal capabilities. Established in 1998, MSC Technology is a team of over 1000 highly skilled professionals providing development and technology support to MSC's transportation divisions.
As part of the project team, you will contribute to developing product components for Global IoT platforms tailored to a container fleet, providing unique, innovative, and integrated solutions for our Customers to monitor their cargo.
You will:
- do data comparisons and investigations
- set up of data structures (design data models, set up of data cubes via visual studio, move data to the cloud)
- assist the business with the creation of complicated reports (set up of dataflows, use live tabular cubes, combine different data-sources, implement new features on Power BI)
- investigate business flows/process improvements
- realize process improvements with a Power BI report, Power App and/or Power Automate
- participate in a stand-by-system
You have:
- extensive knowledge on PowerBI & Power Apps
- experience with BI, data analysis, Critical Data Assessment for at least 2 years
- ability to create and maintain clear and accurate documentation
- good understanding of Statistical thinking (biases, pitfalls, aggregations)
- focus on data quality
- fluency in English, both written and spoken
- ability to be self-motivated real team- player
- knowledge of Data Modelling, Big Data Tools and Azure will be seen as an advantage
