MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, the global container shipping market leader through continual investment and innovation, extensive fleet, dedicated staff, and intermodal capabilities. Established in 1998, MSC Technology is a team of over 1000 highly skilled professionals providing development and technology support to MSC's transportation divisions.
As part of the project team, you will contribute to developing product components for Global IoT platforms tailored to a container fleet, providing unique, innovative, and integrated solutions for our Customers to monitor their cargo.
You will:
- investigate and technically review business flows and process improvements
- analyze and evaluate the needs and objectives of the business and define correct scope
- perform data analysis, gap analysis and suggest solutions
- gather/review business requirements and translate them to functional requirements
- identify automation opportunities
- create plans for change, process maps and business blueprints
- support IT-colleagues on functional/technical aspects
- provide advice and fact-based assessments on different processes
- prepare, test and coordinate system/application implementations/ updates/ upgrades
- collaborate with other team members to efficiently implement functionalities and changes
You have:
- experience with business process modelling tools (BPMN, Dataflow)
- expertise in Sketching tools
- experience in Agile workflow and Azure Devops
- Office365 functional knowledge
- fluency in English, both written and spoken
- strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- problem solving skills
- skills to make the distinction between main and subsidiary issues
- in-depth technical knowledge
- clear and diplomatic communication skills with focus on customer
- ability to be self-motivated real team- player
- SQL and EDI knowledge will be seen as an advantage
