Customer Service Specialist

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist. As the primary point of contact for our valued customers, you will play an important role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences and building lasting relationships.

Role Description

The Customer Service Frontline (CSF) serves as the first point of contact for our customers and bears a significant level of responsibility for the impression created during and after interactions with us.
Our interactions should be short, precise and leave a pleasant aftertaste, giving the customer the feeling and incentive to be a repeat customer and recommend us to their friends and family.
Knowledgeable employees are one of the most important aspects of a good customer service experience. Knowing the ins and outs of a companys offerings is critical for frontline service reps. This allows them to provide quick, accurate, and comprehensive responses to customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Promptly and effectively address customer concerns and requests across all communication channels, maintaining a pleasant interaction that leaves a lasting positive impression
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our offerings to provide accurate and insightful guidance to customers
  • Serve as an exemplary representative of our company, providing detailed information about our products and services
  • Process customer orders and fulfill requests with efficiency and accuracy
  • Identify and escalate cases beyond your expertise following department guidelines
  • Cover responsibilities of team members in their absence as requested by direct managers
  • Consistently apply internal guidelines for accurate and efficient case resolution
  • Maintain a polite, helpful, and professional demeanor while respecting client confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in a similar customer service role or related field
  • Excellent command of English and proficiency in Norwegian or more additional languages
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ownership and responsibility for assigned cases
  • Solid problem-solving ability to identify and address the root causes of customer issues
  • Ability to remain composed and calm in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment
  • Adherence to the basic principles of communication and ethics
  • Strong empathy and active listening skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office package
