Team: 116 people in Riga office, of which 54 people are in IT department.

With the growth of the company, we are looking for a Quality Assurance specialist.

Job mission: You will provide support and direction to testing projects ensuring conformance to company standards. Daily work will include an effective QA IT service ensuring that all systems, software & procedures are up-to-date and maintained within the Quality Guild/Department

Responsibilities:

• Managing quality systems, processes, and procedures to assure product quality and safety;
• Enforce qualified development processes to verify that products meet the Company’s standards;
• Working close with developers to ensure that quality is taken into account and they are creating the right kind of tests;
• Daily work with documentation;
• Manual and automated test execution on daily basis;
• Testing on mobile and desktop platforms;
• Report non-conformances and/or quality related issues when observed;
• Working with database queries and the ability to create input data and verify data updates.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Software life cycle stages;
• Good knowledge of theory (basics, methods, types and kinds of testing) and skill to apply them on practice;
• Active contribution to the Company’s internal SDLC process development;
• Experience with bug-tracking system (Jira) and documentation systems (Confluence);
• Knowledge of SQL commands;
• Experience in UI e2e test, API tests and Contract test development;
• Good English and Russian communication skills: verbal and written;
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business;
• Pro-active and solutions-driven, with the ability to work to strict deadlines with a high level of accuracy, stress resistance;
• Analytical skills, including the ability to understand and reason about complex information;
• Experience of agile methodology and scrum framework;
• Support - assist with resolution and reproduction of user software problems.

Will be considered as advantage:

• Experience in FinTech industry;
• Experience with test automation tools and strategies will be considered as a benefit;
• Experience with JavaScript, REST API, Mocha and Puppeteer will be considered as advantage;
• Experience with Graylog, Sentry, Postman, Git, CircleCI, AWS will be considered as advantage.
