WORK AT LIVEEO IN THE VIBRANT BERLIN STARTUP ECOSYSTEM
LiveEO is applying the latest developments in artificial intelligence to analyze satellite data and is bringing the insights of earth observation data to customers in the enterprise sector with its unique SaaS Monitoring solution. LiveEO is standing at the forefront of a new space industry, is venture capital-backed and consists of an incredible, international team that is building something big.
As the manager of a new subsidiary of LiveEO for Machine Learning annotations you will be working as an essential part of our organization and will help us to scale our earth observation application to enterprises across the earth. You and your team will produce datasets which form the backbone for our AI solution.
YOUR CHALLENGE
• Build up a team (initially 5-10 employees) for annotation of satellite imagery
• Build up a new LiveEO entity in your country (either Romania, Lithuania, Estonia or Latvia)
together with LiveEOs management and be the leading contact point and manager for this
entity
• Build up the organization from scratch including administration, hr, company registration,
office location and setup
• Lead a team of data annotators and together produce an industry-leading dataset
• Define, set up, execute and supervise processes on data annotation end-to-end
• Improve the processes and software tools for annotations over the coming years with the
development team of LiveEO
YOUR PROFILE
• Experience in managing and growing a team
• Entrepreneurial mindset, passionate and curious about technology.Administrative
experience in setting up or running an organization in your country (either Romania,
Lithuania, Estonia or Latvia) is a big plus
• Able to work in a fast paced environment, learn quickly and be able to prioritize assignment
• High level of self-organization as well as ability to use own initiative to manage
independently
• Reliable, committed and quality focused
• Detail-oriented and patient
• Ability to speak & write in English fluently absolutely required
Nice to have:
• Experience in the field of Machine Learning applications and data annotation processes
• Experience in setting up or running an organization in your country (either Romania,
Lithuania, Estonia or Latvia)

ABOUT US
LiveEO is a well funded startup founded in 2018 and based in Berlin. Our primary service is modelling risk to our customers’ assets and infrastructure from vegetation, ground deformation and change detection. We currently have 40+ employees from all over the world with a variety of backgrounds.
