Partner IT Camp is a large international company based in the USA that has been providing marketing, packaging, logistics services for almost 30 years and has branches all over the world, including in Latvia. Working with leading brands, the company places great emphasis on supply chain innovation and optimization.
More than 10,000 employees work worldwide, of which about 1,300 are in the Baltics.
For our partner, we are looking for a Middle Java developer in the IT department in the Riga office, to develop a warehouse and logistics management system.
Office location: Plavnieki, Riga
Team size: The team in the Riga IT department consists of 16 people, highly qualified specialists who are ready to share knowledge and exchange new ideas.
Technology stack: Java 11 / Oracle / Spring / Hibernate / Git / IntelliJ / Linux / REST API
Product:
The company`s own large warehouse management and logistics system is used by local and international clients, which allows to optimize and improve the operation of the entire company.
At what stage is the product now:
The system is under active development to meet business requirements. This system allows to automate product assembly process and helps to increase productivity. This technology has been implemented by the world's largest companies such as Bosch, DHL, DPD.
Company's plans:
A product created in the Riga department is going to be integrated into clients' systems internationally. In addition, it is also offered as a product for new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a system for warehouse management and logistics.
- Implement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance.
- Deliver tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java-based product.
- Design, develop and test Java-based solutions using common standards and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Maintain and update all existing Java applications as needed.
- Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks.
What candidate are we looking for:
- 3+ years of Java development experience.
- Experience in developing applications using Java Web platforms.
- Experience in Spring or equivalent Java framework software.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Ability to work in a team, listen and evaluate ideas and suggestions.
- Able to accept and adapt to a changing environment.
