QA SPECIALIST

IT Camp client is the fastest-growing online consumer lending company in Europe, with headquarters in Riga, Latvia. The company uses the latest technologies to ensure instant consumer identification and scoring.

Team:
IT team consists of 80+ professionals across 8 different teams, working with 10+ products. They are cross-functional, self-sufficient, and highly autonomous teams led by supporting and inspirational leaders. They have varieties of different tasks (bug fixes, refactoring, different integrations, packages, services creation, and much more).

Job mission:
You will provide support and direction to testing projects ensuring conformance to the Company’s standards. Daily work will include an effective QA IT service ensuring that all systems, software & procedures are up-to-date and maintained within the Quality Assurance Team.

Technology stack:
JavaScript, Mocha, Puppeteer, PostgreSQL, AWS services, Kubernates, CircleCI, GitHub, RabbitMQ, RESTFULL API, Graylog, Grafana and much more.

Responsibilities:

• Enforce qualified development processes to verify that products meet the Company’s standards
• Manage quality systems, processes, and procedures to assure product quality and safety
• Work closely with developers to ensure that quality is taken into account in the development phase
• Work with documentation
• Execute manual and automated tests on a daily basis
• Test on mobile and desktop platforms
• Report non-conformances and/or quality-related issues when observed
• Work with database queries and the ability to create input data and verify data updates
• Be able to use your previous experience and offer something new – we are open to new ideas
  
  Requirements:
• 2+ years of professional experience in software and functional testing
• Good knowledge of theory (basics, methods, types, and kinds of testing) and skill to apply them in practice
• Experience with bug-tracking systems (Jira) and documentation systems (Confluence)
• Basic knowledge of SQL commands
• Experience in UI e2e, smoke testing, and regression testing
• Good English and Russian communication skills: verbal and written
• Pro-active and solutions-driven, with the ability to work to strict deadlines with a high level of accuracy
• Analytical skills, including the ability to understand and reason about complex task scopes
• Experience in Agile methodology and Scrum framework
• Support – assist with resolution and reproduction of user software problems
