Mid-Senior Frontend developer with UI focus

Going through another growth phase - merger with leading Scandinavian e-commerce development company, SAP and Adobe Magento Solutions Enterprise partner, with high standards for products and IT consulting services delivered to the customers - company is looking for Mid-Senior Frontend developer with UI focus to join and strengthen the international team of talented IT professionals.

Riga office is housing a delivery team of 30+ skilled engineers who are working on developing probably the best webshops in Europe.
Location: Riga, Latvija; remote work is acceptable up to 100% after onboarding, while office is always at your disposal

Technology stack: modern JS, HTML5, CSS3, PWA, React, PHP (Magento)

● Write quality code (mostly HTML5, CSS3, SCSS and JS) in our products delivered to
customers. Create reusable code for other developers to use. Troubleshoot CSS and JS issues on already implemented websites.
● Create high performance web user interfaces that load data from data sources
asynchronously. Create responsive design fluidly between breakpoints. Implement designs pixel perfect. Recommend UI changes to fix usability issues.
● Suggest improvements in existing code to make a better UI experience for our
customers. Contribute to estimation and scoping of projects within the products with regards to
the UI.

● At least 5 years experience in development, programming with JavaScript, HTML5,
CSS3, Sass
● JavaScript - including frameworks and libraries like jQuery, KnockoutJS, RequireJS,
● Solid modern JavaScript experience (ES6+/ECMAScript 2015+)
● Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
● Version control experience (GIT)
● Proficient with tools for website debugging and cross browser testing
● Interest in being up to date with the latest web trends
● Good English and communication skills

Will be considered as an advantage:

● eCommerce and Magento 2 development experience
● Production experience with React or similar JS framework
● Jira or similar agile task management tool experience
● Familiarity with JSON, Rest APIs
● Experience in performance optimizations
● Knowledge of Progressive Web Applications (PWA)
● Experience with PHP
