In Riga we are building a core team for “Way4” SaaS service provision to global customers. In 2021 we launched the first SaaS client on Way4 platform and in 2022 we will launch 3 more clients. SaaS with multi-region cloud installations, clients in different geographies, 99.98% availability, 24x7 operations, security defense-in-depth - few organizations in Latvia have an IT environment as interesting.

OWBoost provides SaaS services in partnership with OpenWay Europe who is responsible for developing and maintaining “Way4” payment application. OpenWay Europe has a 300+ multinational engineering team, building and delivering sophisticated Way4 payment ecosystem to world payment leaders across the globe: in Belgium, Cyprus, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Vietnam, UAE, Ukraine and many more.

You should have:
• 3+ years’ experience in software testing
• Knowledge of testing theory, various testing approaches and practical testing skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and correctly
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams
• Ability to organize your work, prioritize your tasks across one or several projects
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Experience in API testing and related tools
• Experience with Oracle

Bonus if you have:
• Experience in payment cards, banking or payments industry
• Experience with any payment processing application package
• Knowledge of payment scheme specifications and processes
• Knowledge of one or several programming languages (preferably Java) at the level required for test automation
• Experience with Selenium stack
• Experience with CI systems (TeamCity / Jenkins / GitLab)

The QA Engineer will be part of our SaaS QA team and will be responsible for the maintenance and development of automated testing of OpenWay products, end-to-end testing of full solution landscape, along with the maintenance, optimization, and development of the product itself.

What will you do:
• Plan and implement automated test scripts using proprietary OpenWay automation tools
• Perform manual and automated regression testing across different projects
• Analyze project documentation, release notes and other project artifacts to maintain and improve automated test scenarios
• Debug application defects and manage defects to resolution with SaaS development team
• Participate in integration, functional and stress testing of application releases and patches
• Estimate testing tasks
• Assist application engineers in configuring and maintaining applications under development
• Communicate with clients, providing assistance during the UAT stage, reviewing and investigating UAT findings and Production incidents
