OWBoost provides financial industry clients with leading payment application “Way4” in Software as Service delivery model. In Riga we are building a core team for “Way4” SaaS service provision to global customers. In 2021 we launched the first SaaS client on Way4 platform and in 2022 we will launch 3 more clients. SaaS with multi-region cloud installations, clients in different geographies, 99.98% availability, 24x7 operations, security defense-in-depth - few organizations in Latvia have an IT environment as interesting.

OWBoost provides SaaS services in partnership with OpenWay Europe who is responsible for developing and maintaining “Way4” payment application. OpenWay Europe has a 300+ multinational engineering team, building and delivering sophisticated Way4 payment ecosystem to world payment leaders across the globe: in Belgium, Cyprus, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Malaysia, Vietnam, UAE, Ukraine and many more.

Challenge:
By end of 2022 we will be in operation with 4 clients in Europe, Africa and LatAm and approximately 40-50 systems (production and non-production).
We need experienced DevOps engineer(s) to implement immutable and ephemeral infrastructure, replace legacy components with cloud native, and make our infrastructure resilient.

Once we deal with this we will move into developing hybrid public cloud and cloud-on-premises (cloud appliance) for a major bank (operations in 20+ countries).

What will you do:
 Build SaaS offering for high performance payments product in the age of cloud
 Automate our infrastructure and application deployment and administration process
 Plan, deploy, upgrade, patch, and expand our hybrid cloud infrastructure
 Develop and implement observability stack
 Identify, troubleshoot and fix performance issues across multitude of SaaS systems and services
 Contribute to development of our cloud-native approach and technology stack, test new tools and technologies
 Maintain overall availability of the SaaS services
 Respond to incidents, resolve problems or hand over to the right owner
 Continuously improve monitoring, incident response, and the optimize service availability and performance
 Participate in scheduled oncall 24/7 support for clients across the globe
