Are you our new Accountant?

We are seeking an accurate and responsible accountant to join our organization and become a major contributor to our accounting function. The role will have responsibility for the accounting services in multiple legal entities within the Visma group, in different locations.

You will be hired to the Finance department of the Visma Software International division, which has operations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, the Baltics, Romania and Latin America.

Key responsibilities:

• To be responsible for full-cycle accounting
  
• Invoice customers on a timely basis, collect debtor payments and follow up on overdue debtors` accounts
  
• Process supplier invoices and make supplier payments, follow up outstanding creditors
  
• Review and process expense reports
  
• Record fixed assets and perform depreciation calculation
  
• Prepare and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  
• Perform account reconciliations and analysis of all accounts to ensure their accuracy on a monthly basis
  
• Intercompany reconciliation
  
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports
  
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close process
  
• Cash flow reporting
  
• Work with documents and agreements
  
• VAT reporting
  
• Consolidate excel file for CIT purposes
  
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
  
• Lead external and internal audits and other projects if needed
  
• Assist in special projects, as required.

Experience requirements:

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  
• At least 3 - 4 years of experience in accounting working with the full cycle accounting
  
• Fluent in English (at least B2 level)
  
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets or equivalent (functions: VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLE, CONCATENATE, IF, IFERROR, SUBTOTAL, SUMIFS and etc.)
