Latvia MGI Tech, a part of BGI Group - one of the world’s leading genomics organizations, is looking for a full-time Buyer (Senior level).

Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for all categories including but not limited to reagents, consumables, equipment, furniture, accessories, and other materials.
• Be responsible for sourcing tools and accessories, office equipment and furniture, labor protection supplies, and equipment consumables.
• Be responsible for purchase order placement and keep updated on the delivery date, and other daily supplier management.
• Cooperate with the warehouse to deal with product arrival, return, replacement, and other issues.
• Identify supply risks and shorten the lead time for purchased materials.
• Be responsible for supplier management, including periodic performance evaluation.
• Arrange payment and output monthly fund plan.
• Keep the purchase-related documentation in order.
• Optimize overseas procurement management process.

Requirements:
• Higher education diploma minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• More than two years of experience in purchases field.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills that are direct, concise, clear, and delivered in an appropriate manner.
• Be familiar with the local supply environment.
• Have strong negotiation skills and a general understanding of business issues and financial principles.
• Have excellent PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office programs.
• Be fluent in English language (Chinese language will be considered an advantage).
