Senior .NET / React Developer

We are looking for a strong, enthusiastic and experienced Software Developer who wants to join us and shape our journey to upgrade our HRM tech stack in C# and React making our solution future-proof, flexible and responsive for our customers.

Project: HRM solution

The solution has multiple modules supporting Dutch Customers in their daily HRM processes for their employees. Multiple interfaces are implemented with other systems, 3rd parties and Government. In addition, we provide customers with a mobile app for iOS and Android

Tech stack (Current):

Visma.NET HRM is built using ASP.NET Framework 4.7.2, connecting to an MS SQL Server 2019 database and hosted on a private cloud. The mobile app uses the Cordova framework (v10.0.0) and is written using javascript.

Languages used: VB.NET, Javascript, jQuery

Tech stack (Future):

We want to move to an API-first approach, using React for the frontend and .Net (C#) for the backend.

In addition, the hosting of the application will move to Public Cloud (AWS/Azure)

Main goals and opportunities:

To shape the future with new technologies and split our current stack into a Back-end and Front-end solution. This we expect to be done with C#/.NET and React and replacing our current solution in time to deliver a lovable product to our customers.

You will be responsible for one of our key products and shape the future of the product technically!

Key responsibilities:

• Actively supporting us into the new technology stack
  
• Front-end and back-end development of the platform and extensions
  
• Code solutions yourself and train, coach our team(s) to use new technology
  
• Provide guidance, technical expertise and support to the teams - make sure the developed add-ons cohere to the new architecture
  
• Ensure a high level of security and automation
  

Job requirements:

At least 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer including:

• Microsoft .Net Development (C#)
  
• Web front-end development (React)
  
• Microsoft Azure or AWS
  
• WebServices
  
• SQL Querying and database usage
  
• High level of competence in Security, DevOps and Continuous delivery
  
• Higher education in computer science or related field
  

Personal skills:

• English skills (B2+ level)
  
• Great collaboration skills
  
• Strong and communicative to guide others
  
• Enjoys working in an international environment and with distributed teams
  
• You want to make a difference and proactively take on tasks that will improve the result
