JOB DESCRIPTION
As a UI Architect, you will be responsible for the technical design and architecture of the EIS Policy UI across all the insurance products, one of the vital components of the EIS Suite.
You are expected to have a strong technical background, motivation for continuous improvement of both teams’ expertise and the components, and the ability to maintain code and craft UI architectures for a diversity of rich UI applications. You will be expected to handle key architecture and technical designs, and mentor team members. You are expected to have good written and spoken communication to be able to align your solutions with other architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and govern the UI architecture of the Policy product line in alignment with the overall company’s technology roadmap
- Lead international engineering teams toward meeting the Policy products and organisation goals
- Design complex technical solutions and architecture for them
- Act as a mentor to team members across full-stack teams, help them grow and develop
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, analysing and implementing the requirements, both functional and non-functional
- Managing mid- and long-term technical improvements roadman, working on the UI architecture and products continuous improvements
- Interact with other domains leads, other architects and client representatives and pursue the Policy domain improvements
Requirements
- Strong HTML5, CSS, LESS/Similar, Responsive design and tools - bootstrap, CSS media queries
- JavaScript (ES5/ES6/ES7), TypeScript
- Strong React JS and React ecosystem, State management (e.g. one of MobX, Redux, GraphQL, etc.)
