We are looking for a creative and ambitious Digital Presenter for Current Time TV https://www.currenttime.tv/ to be based in Riga and be responsible for producing compelling and engaging multimedia content for Current Time’s digital platforms.
You must have the experience of being in front of a camera for digital platforms, great presentation skills and eagerness to experiment with different formats. You are expected to be creative while also being data-driven and results oriented.
As an integral part of Current Time’s digital unit, you will produce content on mission-oriented and trending topics. A commitment to RFE/RL’s mission, adherence to its editorial standards and best practices is a must.

This position reports to the Sr Digital Producer of Current Time Digital.
RFE/RL may assist the successful candidate with relocation to Riga, Latvia

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, or related field or the equivalent in experience is preferred.
  Work Experience.
• 4+ years of experience in digital journalism in news organization.
• Extensive experience in producing content on digital platforms.
• Strong reporting and editing background.

• Familiarity with social media storytelling.
• Ability to deliver fast, accurate and compelling copy and visual production.

• Expected to work weekends and work from home, as and when required.
• Broad knowledge of political, economic, and social situations and international affairs acquired through studies, research, writing, travel, or other relevant experience or exposure.
• Familiarity with html and video editing are a plus.
