A Technical Recruiter is responsible for finding, recruiting, hiring – and retaining – talented candidates. This includes building a strong Employer Brand, responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match for a company's long-term goals. They factor into this process that people play an important role and will be key players of success going forward. Recruiters possess an ongoing strategy to find specialists, leaders, or future executives for your company. Talent acquisition tends to focus on long-term human resources planning and finding appropriate candidates for positions that require a very specific skillset.

The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.
• Writing or editing job descriptions.
• Placing ads.
• Sourcing and screening candidates to fill open positions.
• Developing strategies and plans for talent acquisition.
• Attending job fairs at colleges and universities
• Managing posts on job boards, such as outside staffing agencies, LinkedIn, industry recruiting/ads sites, and Universities.
• Planning and organizing career fairs and related events.
• Courting top candidates.
• Effective Communication skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, leadership skills.
• Expert at LinkedIn and related sites to scout for candidates.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience.
