Job description
SpectroCoin specialises in developing innovative solutions for electronic payments. Its portfolio includes SpectroCoin.com, which offers crypto-assets exchange, blockchain wallet services, debit card solutions, and payment processing options. The company comprises highly skilled professionals from the IT and Finance sectors, with experience at prestigious institutions such as Bloomberg LP and Cambridge University. Additionally, Spectro Finance collaborates with leading academic and professional organisations on research initiatives.
This is a full-time hybrid Chief Accountant role based in Tallinn, with flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. In this role, you will oversee the company's financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive financial efficiency.
You will be a key partner to internal stakeholders, translating financial data into strategic recommendations and optimizing our financial processes for future growth.
You should find it interesting to:
- Oversee the company's day-to-day financial operations and maintain accurate transaction records
- Prepare financial statements and ensure full compliance with local and international financial regulations
- Manage internal/external audits and oversee all taxation functions
- Develop and manage company budgets and closely monitor cash flow
- Supervise and ensure the accuracy of the payroll functions
- Analyze complex financial data to provide actionable, strategic recommendations to management
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to streamline and optimize financial processes
We would love you to have:
- Proficiency in financial accounting, auditing, and preparing financial statements
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and experience managing taxation processes
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial analysis and budgeting
- Experience with accounting software, bookkeeping, and detailed transaction reconciliation
- Attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Estonian
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in a similar role; experience in the fintech or crypto industry is a huge plus
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage
