QA Team Leader will be busy with:

● People Leadership: inspiring and coaching Workmates - fellow QA Engineers - according
to Workday’s Core Values
● Identifying and driving implementation of QA process improvement initiatives
● Coordinating the cross functional team testing initiatives
● Planning the E2E test processes for these cross-functional integration initiatives
● Supervising the execution of E2E tests
● Analyzing the upcoming features and potential dependencies into the existing code base
● Ensuring teams are logging test outcomes and verifying test execution
● Planning for your team to analyze, evaluate, submit and retest defects
● Communicating the test findings with our Product Owners and DevOps teams

● You are a result oriented person with a positive attitude and love interacting with people.
You know the importance of QA in the development process. You have experience of
guiding, coaching and overseeing impeccable results of large teams of testers and QA
Engineers. You have experience of bringing mission critical applications rich in
functionality to live production environments.
● You pay attention to details and if needed, report findings in a well-structured manner. You
like to give feedback about usability and help to launch better products. You are able to
work independently. You are responsible, skilled, helpful, and kind.
● You recognize your team relies on you, but you know when to stop working and value the
smart solution over the hard one.

● Minimum 5 years of experience in Management area in Quality Assurance
● Proficient understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall
product development lifecycle
● Experience in Agile culture and remote, also geographically distributed environment
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
● Efficiently regulate and prioritize tasks
● Experience with JIRA and Confluence or similar tools
● Experience with some Test Case Management system
● Experience in Technical Writing is a plus

We’re really enjoying React, Redux and Apollo GraphQL client with ES6, TypeScript and SCSS. Frontend code is unit-tested using Jest and Enzyme and cleanliness is maintained using the latest approaches (ESLint, AirBnB style guide). Styling is separated from components and modularised using CSS modules approach with the help of webpack. Our application is built on Ruby on Rails.vWe take full advantage of Postgres with a trigger-based time machine, SQL views, and a willingness to drop from ActiveRecord to raw SQL when it makes sense. AWS is our products home. Sidekiq, Redis, ElasticSearch and websockets definitely play their parts.
