New Product Development Director
The customer of I-Work is a food manufacturing company that exports worldwide and has received the Great Taste Award. They specialize in producing products using only natural, high-quality ingredients. Currently the Key position that needs to be filled is
Key responsibilities:
- Lead NPD and Quality department;
- Collaborate with production, marketing, and sales teams to develop and release new products, ensuring success for the organization;
- Lead NPD meetings and oversee the development process to deliver new concepts/products that meet customer and business requirements;
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, meeting all specified requirements in commercial, nutritional, and process development aspects;
- Follow the Product Development process, documenting and communicating each stage accurately to key stakeholders;
- Organize and participate in factory trials and pre-production runs, working closely with process development teams;
- Contribute to packaging development and validate all product claims;
- Provide input to site HACCP meetings as required;
- Conduct post-launch reviews in collaboration with relevant site functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in food production;
- Experience in chocolate/confectionery production is a strong advantage;
- Successful experience with new product launch;
- Strong project management skills;
- Fluent in English, Latvian and Russian.
