About the Job:
In this role, you will be part of an Agile scrum team, including integration leads, business analysts, developers, and QAs, to ensure the successful planning and delivery of high-performance integration projects. You'll work closely with customers to define needs, gather requirements, and manage project backlogs, while collaborating with the project delivery manager and other key stakeholders to optimize the delivery pipeline and meet deadlines efficiently. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead Development: Oversee the entire SDLC, emphasizing API design and integration delivery for smooth development-to-production transitions in close collaboration with the Integration Lead.
  • Advanced SQL & Data Flows: Leverage advanced SQL skills and design comprehensive data flow diagrams as core, daily tasks.
  • Client Collaboration: Deliver tailored software solutions, closely engaging with clients to address their requirements.
  • Documentation & Delivery: Ensure timely completion of all project documentation and deliverables, from requirements to output.
  • Consulting Expertise: Act as a trusted consultant in workshops, guiding internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support & Analysis: Provide technical business analysis and ongoing support through the entire project lifecycle.
  • Agile Leadership: Define and refine backlogs, review user stories, and contribute to Agile processes as a Product Owner.
  • Quality Assurance: Review test scripts, participate in peer reviews, and support testing to ensure delivery excellence.
  • Client Support & Mentorship: Guide clients through go-live, troubleshoot issues, and mentor junior staff.
  • Best Practices: Implement and maintain best practices throughout all projects.

 
What to Have for this position:
Must-Have:
  • Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst/Technical Business Analyst with proven SDLC expertise.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced SQL, API design, SOAP/REST web services, ETL processes, and integration architecture.
  • Data Expertise: Mastery in data flow diagrams and their critical role in project success.
  • Industry Knowledge: Financial services experience (Life, Pensions, Banking/Investments) and familiarity with regulatory demands.
  • Leadership: History of leading Agile integration teams and driving large functional changes.
  • Client-Facing: Experience in customer-facing roles and willingness to travel.
  • Communication: Fluent English with excellent written and verbal skills.
