We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Head of Representative Office Baltic (Based in Riga, Latvia)
To excel in this position, you should have at least 5 years of business development experience, preferably in a technical and international environment, and possess good leadership skills.
We expect you to be a self-motivated, energetic, inspiring, and proactive professional. You are a goal-oriented team developer. You should be a stakeholder-oriented person with good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. You are pragmatic, business-minded, results-oriented, and open to new ideas. You have good communication skills, and you possess learning agility, with intrinsic interest in the Weidmüller portfolio and 3rd party products.
You can communicate freely in English, as this position requires close cooperation with the Management Team North Europe and is closely linked to the Headquarter in Germany. You should have a technical or commercial education. You should be able to travel for business within the Baltics and occasionally abroad.
Job description
This leadership role is crucial for driving our growth initiatives and enhancing our market position in close alignment with the Headquarter in Germany, while ensuring seamless integration with our Nordic operations.
You will lead and motivate a talented team of nine professionals in Baltics and report directly to the Managing Director of Nordics & Baltics.
You will drive and manage business development in line with Weidmüller's marketing strategy and identify new business opportunities. You will work in close cooperation with your international colleagues abroad as well as with our partners.
In this hands-on role, you will become responsible for both internal tasks (leadership, team development, administrative duties) and external tasks (market development, stakeholder management), namely for:
- Identifying, developing, and expanding existing business opportunities.
- Establishing goals and targets for the Baltic team, aligned with the budget and strategies outlined in the marketing plan.
- Cultivating partnerships with distributors, turning them into "Weidmüller Ambassadors."
- Maintaining budget responsibility and ensuring goals are met while overseeing accounting and payroll activities.
- Coordinating strategies with the Nordic Area for a unified approach to market demands.
- Promoting teamwork and collaboration between different departments, paving the way for sustainable growth.

Additional information: Naturally, you should expect competitive remuneration based on your education, experience, skills, and a bonus based on performance. The total annual gross salary offered is approximately €80k+, plus benefit packages.
