NATO Multinational Division North is calling to apply candidates for the post of Assistant to Information Knowledge Management
Requirements for the Candidates
- Experience and relevant training within the field of Information Knowledge Management (IKM) or related fields. Capable of analysing internal processes and workflows; Identifying alternative solutions, evaluate feasibility and suggest new procedures with a focus on using measures to control the flow of information.
- Expertise in SharePoint information architecture, its operational principles and scope Technical experience with SharePoint configuration is a plus, but not required
- Has demonstrated the ability to be self-driven in projects as well as being confident in running cross-functional projects
- Capable of giving guidance on applicable standards, methods, tools and system applications. Experience within governance risk and compliance, including risk assessment, compliance monitoring and implementing governance frameworks is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of MS office and basic user knowledge of document handling systems.
- Proficiency in English as the primary working language at the HQ is English.
- Familiarity with the military environment and NATO is considered an advantage.
- Outgoing and extrovert personality is a plus, however with empathy and understanding of military culture and hierarchy.
Main Tasks
- Assist and support the IKM Branch manager as well as Division Branches on matters regarding IKM.
- Develop and propose policies, procedures, working practices and training to promote compliance with legislation regulating all aspects of holding, use and disclosure of data.
- Be the IKM architect on existing platforms and ensure continual optimization of the SharePoint usage, its structures and processes.
- Solve general tasks related to Information Management Systems.

Headquarters Multinational Division North (HQ MND N) was founded in March 2019 as part of NATOs deterrence and collective defence plan of the Baltic region. HQ MND N is located in Adazi Military Base. In peacetime the HQ have operational control of the international forces in the region and prepares for taking command of divisional forces in case of crisis or war. The HQ also supports the national defence forces in the region with their operational planning and training. The HQ is a part of NATO Force Structure.
