The Sportsbook Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the analytics function within the Sportsbook team, delivering actionable insights that drive performance, profitability, and risk management across the sports betting operation. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on data analysis, reporting infrastructure development, and team building
Job responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyse large, complex datasets across trading, customer behavior, pricing, and market performance.
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities to optimize margin, liability, and trading strategies.
- Provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders, including Trading, Risk, and Product teams.
- Develop predictive and diagnostic models to support decision-making.
2. Reporting & Power BI Development
- Design, build, and maintain scalable reporting frameworks in Power BI.
- Create automated dashboards covering key KPIs such as margin, hold, turnover, customer segmentation, and market performance.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across all reporting outputs.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive visualizations for both technical and non-technical users.
3. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with Trading, Risk, Marketing, BI and Product teams to align on priorities and deliver insights.
- Define team structure, roles, and responsibilities aligned with business needs.
- Establish best practices in analytics, reporting, and data governance.
- Foster a data-driven culture within the trading organization.
Our expectations:
Experience
- 3+ years in data analytics.
- Experience and understanding of odds and sportsbetting.
- Strong mathematical background with demonstrated expertise in probability, statistics and modelling.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Power BI.
- SQL knowledge and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with Python/R is a plus.
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
Business & Analytical Skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to perform work duties.

Sporta totalizatora analītikas vadītājs (Sportsbook Analytics Manager) ir atbildīgs par analītikas funkcijas vadīšanu Sportsbook komandā, sniedzot praktiskas atziņas, kas veicina efektivitāti, rentabilitāti un risku pārvaldību visā sporta likmju operāciju gaitā. Šis amats apvieno stratēģisko vadību ar praktisku datu analīzi, pārskatu (reporting) infrastruktūras izstrādi un komandas veidošanu.
Darba pienākumi:
1. Datu analīze un atziņas
- Analizēt lielas, sarežģītas datu kopas par tirdzniecību (trading), klientu uzvedību, cenu noteikšanu un tirgus rādītājiem.
- Identificēt tendences, neefektivitāti un iespējas, lai optimizētu maržu, saistības (liability) un tirdzniecības stratēģijas.
- Sniegt praktiskas atziņas augstākā līmeņa ieinteresētajām pusēm, tostarp tirdzniecības (Trading), riska un produkta komandām.
- Izstrādāt prognozēšanas un diagnostikas modeļus lēmumu pieņemšanas atbalstam.
2. Atskaišu un Power BI izstrāde
- Izstrādāt, veidot un uzturēt mērogojamas atskaišu struktūras rīkā Power BI.
- Izveidot automatizētus pārskata paneļus (dashboards), kas aptver galvenos KPI, piemēram, maržu, peļņas daļu (hold), apgrozījumu, klientu segmentāciju un tirgus rādītājus.
- Nodrošināt datu precizitāti, konsekvenci un pieejamību visos pārskatos.
- Pārvērst biznesa prasības intuitīvās vizualizācijās gan tehniskiem, gan netehniskiem lietotājiem.
3. Vadība un ieinteresēto pušu pārvaldība
- Cieši sadarboties ar Trading, Risk, Marketing, BI un Product komandām, lai saskaņotu prioritātes un sniegtu datu analīzes atziņas.
- Definēt komandas struktūru, lomas un pienākumus atbilstoši biznesa vajadzībām.
- Ieviest labāko praksi analītikā, pārskatu sagatavošanā un datu pārvaldībā (data governance).
- Veicināt uz datiem balstītu kultūru tirdzniecības struktūrvienībā.
