What We're Looking For
We're looking for a commercially-minded E-commerce Manager to own and grow DOORS NYC's Shopify business. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day ecommerce operations, including product uploads, merchandising and website management, but your primary objective is to increase revenue. We're looking for someone who continuously improves conversion, AOV, customer retention, CRM (Klaviyo), SEO and GEO, and the overall customer journey. Your role is not just to manage the website, it's to grow the business.
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years' hands-on experience managing and growing a Shopify ecommerce business.
- Proven track record of improving conversion rate, AOV, revenue and customer retention.
- Strong understanding of merchandising, CRO and customer journey optimization.
- Experience working with Klaviyo (email marketing & lifecycle automation).
- Experience working alongside developers, writing clear briefs and QA'ing implementations.
- Strong understanding of SEO and GEO, ability to manage external SEO agency.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Shopify Analytics and ecommerce reporting.
- Highly organized, analytical and commercially driven.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience in fashion, luxury or premium ecommerce is highly preferred.
What You Will Do
Own the commercial performance of DOORS NYC ecommerce. Your responsibilities will include:
- Own and continuously improve the Shopify customer journey.
- Increase conversion rate, AOV, revenue and customer retention.
- Own merchandising across homepage, collections and product pages.
- Manage ecommerce development sprints together with external developers.
- Prepare developer briefs, QA implementations and prioritize the ecommerce roadmap.
- Manage CRM and lifecycle marketing through Klaviyo.
- Work with our SEO and GEO partner to improve organic traffic and AI search visibility.
- Monitor and improve key ecommerce KPIs: Revenue, Conversion Rate, AOV, Customer Retention, Email Revenue, Organic Traffic
- Coordinate and launch ecommerce campaigns with the Marketing Manager, collection curation and seasonal merchandising.
- Manage marketplaces (Farfetch, Lyst, Daydream etc.) and affiliate partnerships.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience using data rather than assumptions.
