Key Responsibilities
- Perform the industrialization of composite products.
- Design Jigs, Fixtures and molds for composite parts required for production.
- Design and implement new production processes, including equipment selection and layout.
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to minimize waste, reduce costs and cycle times.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline production processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Prepare Process Flow Diagrams, P-FMEA and written instructions for production technicians.
- Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Production Process Engineer or NPI Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Knowledge and proven experience working with composite materials and layup processes is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly and testing.
- Familiar with PPAP elements.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Experience working in ERP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and spoken Latvian and English language.
