Main responsibilities:
- Perform full accounting cycle in Latvian business
- Prepare and submit timely monthly management reports in accordance with reporting requirements
- Prepare annual reports and prepare tax returns
- Support month-end and year-end closing process
- Perform and comply with monthly reporting requirements and tax filings
- Maintain communication with company departments, outsourced services and auditors
Other position-related duties
For success in this position, you should have:
- Proven working experience as an Accountant
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Experience in preparation of annual reports
- Excellent accounting software user skills, knowledge of Horizon will be considered as advantage
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles will be considered as an advantage
- Good Latvian, English both in written and verbal
- Strong abilities of leadership, persistence, self-motivation, confidence
