General responsibilities:
- Providing support to the Chief Accountant with daily tasks;
- Processing and recording of accounts payable;
- Preparing of bank payments and processing of bank accounts;
- Processing of claim reports;
- Participation in the inventory process;
- Participation in monthly and year closing process.
Job requirements:
- 1 + years of professional experience in accounting;
- Higher education or incomplete higher education, college education in finance, accounting, economics or equivalent;
- Good knowledge of MS Office;
- Excellent spoken and written Latvian language;
- Good spoken and written English language;
- Knowledge and orientation in Latvian tax and accounting legislation;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Precise, high sense of responsibility and positive attitude towards work
- Experience with SAP software would be considered as advantage.
