You will be an integral part of a collaborative and rapidly growing legal team at a fast-paced fintech scale-up. As a member of a busy legal team you will also contribute to team-wide initiatives and work with people from across our geos (including UK, France, Latvia, US and ANZ).

On a daily basis you will:

• Reviewing supplier contracts, using GoCardless playbook as the standard and updating it when required
• Extracting and recording key information from contracts
• Updating process documents and contract templates
• Supporting the drafting of new clauses/terms and review forms used to onboard suppliers and highlighting key risk areas
• Being the first point of contact for a broad range of contract manager/paralegal issues from all business functions of a high-growth fintech scale-up
• Managing the inflow of legal matters by answering basic queries from across the business and involving other members of the legal team as appropriate
• Reviewing and negotiating NDAs and other ancillary legal documents and building out and maintaining self-help tools for the legal team and for the wider business
• Spotting opportunities that allow us to deliver contract management/paralegal/legal executive services in a more efficient and scalable way, and building new processes
• Helping members of the team with ad-hoc projects such as legal research, product launches, corporate projects and IP matters
• Taking charge of document management 

• You have previous experience working as contract manager/paralegal in either a commercial law firm or in-house organisation
• You are used to working independently and proactively on a variety of projects simultaneously, and can effectively prioritise
• You are tech-savvy and have experience with legal tech tools and contract management systems
• You are a great communicator and want to work in a fun, fast-growing but demanding company
• You want to support your team make it easier for the legal team to provide advice with your assistance
