PBLC Nordic are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an R&D Assistant for an industrial LED lighting manufacturer. The R&D Assistant will support our Research and Development department in designing, testing, developing, and certifying innovative LED lighting solutions for industrial applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the R&D team in product development, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the overall success of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the R&D team to assist in the development of new industrial LED lighting products.
• Support the design process by conducting research, sourcing components, and assisting in prototyping activities.
• Conduct experiments and perform tests to evaluate the performance, reliability, and efficiency of LED lighting products.
• Assist in the analysis and interpretation of experimental data to identify areas for improvement and optimize product performance.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and product specifications.
• Assist in the documentation of research findings, technical reports, and product specifications.
• Prepare product data sheets and instruction sheets
• Assist with procurements and documentation
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in LED lighting technologies to contribute to product innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure effective product development and implementation.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative ideas for new product features and enhancements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to LED lighting products during the development and manufacturing processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, or at least 2 years experience in a related field.
• Solid understanding of LED lighting principles, including optics, thermal management, and electrical circuits.
• Familiarity with industrial lighting applications and relevant standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in conducting experiments, data analysis, and interpreting technical data.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and tools used in LED lighting testing and prototyping.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and data analysis tools.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• As we are an international company, English and Latvian are necessary
• Enthusiasm for staying up to date with emerging LED lighting technologies and industry trends.
