As the Master Data Lead you will advise and coordinate Data Management Team activities on process or data setup issues, be the go-to person for the rest of the organization with data-related issues, process questions, or improvements in the relevant area, and take ownership of work instruction.

Responsibilities
- Ensure data stewardship work with different teams within the organization to coordinate the complete set up of master data (Procurement, Freight, Finance, HR and others)
- Advise and coach Data Management Team on process or data setup issues, lead training activities
- Supervise, encourage, and offer assistance to the vendor sub-team, ensuring their effective management, motivation, and support in achieving their goals and delivering high-quality results.
- Drive process improvement activities, contribute to global cross-functional initiatives and projects
- Document and improve Data Management policies and procedures (work instruction, process flow and template updates)
- Analyze metrics to measure data quality and consistency, organize and implement data cleansing activities
- Perform audit trail review, support internal and external audit inquiries
- Prepare complex master data queries and advanced data upload objects
Qualifications & skills
- Experience in Data Management or Master Data related field supported by ERP environment
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must
- Programming skills will be considered a plus
- Upper-intermediate (B2) English skills, both written and spoken
- Sense for data quality and accuracy
- Experience in people management
- Capable of dealing with complex environments (data, systems, rules, etc.)
- Ability to deliver a clear message to the stakeholders by having good communication skills
- Capable of working under stress, and evaluating priorities and their impacts
