As a  Head of Supply Chain you will be responsible for development, implementation and be accountable for CPO Supply Chain strategic, tactical, and operational plans to optimize supply chain results. You will promote clear decisions for optimal availability of medicine and products, minimizing working capital and costs without compromising quality and regulatory requirements. At the same time, you will define and implement changes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and compliance for the data and process standards and lead the related business transformation activities.

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure governance of Supply Chain processes and align the related roles key accountabilities with global Supply chain directions and procedures;
• Manage key processes i.e. S&BP (sales and business planning), CPO Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Collaborative Planning, Launch / Change Processes and Warehouse and distribution;
• Understand and follow the global integrated supply chain processes and ensure smooth interface with Novartis Supply Chain management;
• Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities in supply chain. Provide strategic input to short- and medium-term business plans. Ensure collection of forecasting data and its consolidation and proper projection;
• Provide financial volume projections of inventory to supplement decision-making, and present the implications to the business;
• Control the warehouse and distribution budget and find opportunities for effective operations;
• Achieve best possible stock levels in times of site transfers, changes in product and product launching;
• Act as main contact point to our customers regarding supply status and replenishment of goods;
• Ensure deliveries on time to our customers as well as channel management execution to serve our patient needs;
• Drive performance management process within the team. Monitor 3 PLs operations activities and ensure high customer service level.
