Prasības kandidātiem
- Bachelors degree or higher in respective field;
- 2+ years of experience designing mechanical components and systems from concept through production validation;
- Materials science knowledge;
- Mechanical design knowledge;
- Computer aided design skills;
- Desirable Autodesk Fusion 360 knowledge;
- Familiar with design for manufacturing (DFM) and different manufacturing processes;
- Working knowledge of a large variety of materials (aluminum, steel, composites, foam, etc.);
- Experience with design for reliability and respective durability testing requirements;
- At least B2 (Independent user) level of English knowledge;
- The ability to work in a team.
Darba pienākumu apraksts
- Design and calculate mechanical devices and assemblies;
- Implement improvements of existing mechanical designs and assemblies;
- Calculate tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis;
- Collaborate with different departments and teams.
- Prepare designs for fabrication and manufacturing;
- Provide support during the building and installation process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to design specifications;
- Perform other duties as requested by direct manager.
