As Geidans Solutions continues to expand and our workforce grows, we are seeking a highly skilled HR Specialist to join our team.

The HR Specialist plays a crucial role in the human resources department by supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance with labor laws, organizing team-building activities, coordinating business trips, and managing attendance and productivity. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing:
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for various positions.
  • Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain and update job descriptions and job postings.
  • Cooperate with recruitment agencies.

2. Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends.
  • Promote a positive work environment and culture.

3. Benefits Administration:
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
  • Coordinate with benefits providers and resolve any issues.

4. Compliance and Record Keeping:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation.
  • Assist with audits and ensure HR practices adhere to company policies.

5. Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee development plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

6. Performance Management:
  • Support the performance review process and provide guidance to managers and employees.
  • Assist in the development of performance improvement plans.
  • Track and document performance evaluations and feedback.
  • Manage employee attendance records and address attendance issues.
  • Monitor productivity levels and implement strategies to enhance employee performance and efficiency.

7. HR Projects and Initiatives:
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and systems.
  • Stay current with HR trends and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

8. Team Building Activities:
  • Plan and organize team-building activities and events to promote teamwork and enhance company culture.
  • Coordinate with internal and external resources to facilitate team-building sessions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of team-building activities and gather feedback for future improvements.

9. Business Trip Coordination:
  • Plan and organize business trips for employees, including booking flights, accommodation, and transportation.
  • Ensure all travel arrangements comply with company policies and budgetary constraints.
  • Provide employees with travel itineraries and necessary travel documentation.
  • Assist with travel-related issues and emergencies.

Qualifications:
  • HR, Business Administration, Social Science or a related field degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of labour laws and regulations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Fluent in Latvian, Russian, proficiency in English.
