Job description & Requirements
The first task is simple: answer YES to all of the following:
- Do you live in Latvia and prefer to work fully remotely (9-6 workdays)?
- Do you speak native Latvian and English?
- Do you wish to put your proven sales, management, marketing skills, and commercial background to drive success?
- Do you understand that AirGuru is not a regular travel agency but a rapidly growing e-commerce company?
- Do you roll up your sleeves while thinking outside the box on your way to go the extra mile instead of dropping the clichés and just getting the work done?
Next, a quick background check:
- Your achieved sales and management results speak louder than your years of experience in the industry.
- You have a solid understanding of e-commerce, local media channels, the travel industry trends, and your knowledge base of the Latvian country/region is only limited to "I haven't asked it AI yet."
- You are fluent in the Travel/Business language: 2 PAX, TLL, HB, RT, CPC, CPA (or at least smart enough to decipher these when needed).
- You are an excellent communicator, able to adapt to each stakeholder.
- You are competent with technology, and you're confident you can pick any software appropriate to your field.
Now that you're ready to board - let's talk about your typical day at the office:
- You will drive AirGuru's growth and development in Latvia by taking full ownership, managing, and optimizing all processes.
- You will lead and grow the Latvian team (7 people).
- You will cooperate with our partners, tour operators, suppliers, and other stakeholders and maintain strong partnerships.
- You will balance between technical hands-on work and strategic planning.
- You will be a core intermediate between HQ in Lithuania and Latvia.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the company's daily operations go smoothly and effectively.
- You will oversee and ensure budgets and implement corrective actions for underperforming segments.
- You will be responsible for delivering necessary accounting data to the accounting team and ensuring an error-free process.

Who knows, maybe soon the rest of the world will hear the name AirGuru? After all, sometimes the most significant achievements begin with a simple idea of two friends to make traveling easier and more accessible to everyone 🌍
