Join Wandoo Finance as a Software Engineer to help design and build scalable lending platform that will support millions of loans across the globe.
We are a fast-growing global fintech powerhouse – with HQ in Latvia and operations across Poland, Spain, Romania, Peru, and now also Lithuania. We deliver innovative financial solutions across borders, combining tech-driven thinking with global reach.
In this role, you will take ownership of one of our lending platforms — building features to improve quality of life for our users, hardening stability and security of our system and reshaping the architecture to be prepared for rapid expansion.
This is not a role for someone who simply ships tickets. We’re looking for a strong technical thinker who wants to understand what business and users needs and how to support the business growth. You will work closely with product, analytics, and business stakeholders to shape the system that is used by tens of thousands of users managing millions in loans.

You'll be joining a team of motivated and passionate engineers working on next generation lending platform. That means your decisions, code, and judgment will visibly shape how the product operates - there is nowhere to hide and no committee to defer to.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Work end-to-end across product requirement scoping, system design, development, testing, rollout and monitoring
- Write clean, well-tested code that powers financial products real customers depend on
- Take responsibility for systems in production: monitor, debug, and improve, not just ship
- Work directly with product and business to turn real needs into solid technical solutions
- Contribute to technical direction in a small team where your judgment is visible and your decisions matter
- Uphold the engineering and compliance bar that operating in regulated fintech markets demands
- Continuously challenge existing solutions and identify smarter ways to structure and deliver systems that bring value for the business
What You Bring to the Table
This role suits someone with more than 3 years of experience — with goal of owning technical direction, not waiting for it. In return, you get genuine autonomy, direct exposure to business decisions, and the ability to shape the engineering function rather than inherit someone else's design.
- Willingness to show end-to-end ownership of features from design to production
- Prior practical knowledge or willingness to learn and adopt AI assisted engineering
- Strong practical experience with Java and Spring framework
- Solid SQL skills with confidence working on analytical queries
- Strong problem-solving mindset with curiosity to understand the business context behind technical work
- Exposure to fintech, lending, financial services, or high-volume transactional environments is a plus
- Excellent judgment and strong communication skills
