Miller Retail Latvia is part of The Miller Group, an international retail and distribution group headquartered in Malta. The Miller Group is a long-standing partner and franchise operator of WHSmith, managing WHSmith stores across major European travel hubs, including airports in Malta, Athens, Thessaloniki and Belgrade. The Group is now expanding its operations to Latvia, bringing the internationally recognised WHSmith travel retail concept to Riga Airport.
The company is building its local team and looking for
RETAIL ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Your key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day retail administration, including data entry, records, reports and documentation
- Maintain stock, purchasing, sales and pricing records and support stock management processes
- Coordinate supplier documentation, invoices and payment-related processes
- Prepare staff attendance, working-hour and payroll reports in cooperation with HR
- Maintain employee leave and personnel records
- Monitor daily sales reports, till reconciliations, discrepancies and cash-related records
- Support the Airport Operations Manager with staff rosters and daily retail activities
- Coordinate retail operations and support the team in the absence of the Airport Operations Manager
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in administration, retail operations or a similar role
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confidence working with data, reports, payroll and financial information
- Good understanding of stock management and day-to-day retail processes
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently in a dynamic environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with different teams and stakeholders
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluent Latvian and good working proficiency in English (for collaboration with team and management in Malta)
