Our Latvian subsidiary is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Riga office.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our experienced Accounting team. You will receive guidance and ongoing support to develop your skills, strengthen your expertise, and become a valued member of the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately record financial data in Xero, including bank transactions, invoices and other bookkeeping entries.
- Process and reconcile company expenses, corporate credit card transactions, supplier statements and loans.
- Support payroll processing, including salary calculations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management accounts and regular financial reporting.
- Provide support during audits and assist with related documentation.
- Manage bookkeeping activities for the representative office.
- Perform ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in accounting software will be considered as advantage; training in Xero and/or 1C will be provided.
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
- Attention to detail, structured, highly organized person able to work in a dynamic environment
