o Fluency in Latvian and English languages (written and spoken)
o Experience of brand marketing (preferably regional) e.g.: development and implementation of promotional and non-promotional initiatives including medical education
o Understanding of in-country marketing planning and delivery
o Well organized with ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and effectively perform under tight timelines
o Proven ability to perform effectively in a complex, changing environment, and the professional maturity to deal with ambiguity
o Excellent communication and presentation skills
o Demonstrated strong cross-functional working skills and able to deliver stretching results through others in matrix complex working situations
o Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and evolving IDM healthcare environment
o Willingness to travel as required


Strategy and tactical execution to put patients first
o Drive development of innovative regional strategies through understanding of revenue drivers for the brand across IDM and in-country
o Development and implementation of (non) promotional campaigns / programs to deliver brand targets
o Support acceleration of new capabilities, including digital and multi-channel marketing
o Good business acumen & understanding of key marketing principles
Leadership without authority
o Lead and inspire regional Alliance cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of specific plans
o Facilitate open discussion and debate amongst key stakeholders and build internal and external relationships through partnering, anticipating needs and fulfilling expectations
o Develop productive and collaborative relationships with Alliance partners in the development and delivery of agreed strategies and tactics
o Work effectively in a matrix multi-cultural organization, demonstrating a track record of ability to influence others without authority

o Experience applying IDM financial systems/processes and compliance
o Ability to analyze data, interpret and communicate clear, actionable recommendations

Customer engagement & insight generation
o Awareness of market variations in dynamics across IDM markets, customer insights and market landscape to develop solutions to address patient, customer and business needs
o Translate broader global customer & patient issues into specific actions to develop & support the creation of regional activities
o Experience in managing external healthcare professionals
o Ability to synthesize country customer insights for IDM planning
