Main requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
- Experience in a multinational company
- Proven experience with complex finance processes, in particular PTP (purchase to pay)
- Knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- Very good knowledge of accounting systems is a must (daily work based on Oracle Cloud)
- Accounting certificates are a strong advantage
- Minimum B2 English level
- Good Latvian language skills
- Ability to work with big data, process mining, identifying process inefficiencies, advise the best practice, ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Effective in planning and time management
- Strong Business Awareness
- High interpersonal standards, attention to details, proactivity and engagement
- Ability to prioritize, strong “can do” mentality, a drive to accomplish tasks in an environment with multiple senior stakeholders organized in a matrixial organization
- Strong and effective communication skills, ability to listen and understand, ability to not only name the facts but to convey the main message of the conversation, ability to adapt the language to the other person

Main responsibilities

- Permanent interaction with the Accenture team (BPO - Business process outsourcing)
- Interaction with the business in the area of PTP (purchase to pay) managing business remarks and escalations
- Coordination and support of the execution of activities related to PTP process within the region, based on global standards as provided by PTP Global Process Owners (SPC Team)
Payments of invoices as per requests received requests / emergencies of the day
- Implementation project of new invoicing platform for suppliers in Latvia – onboarding of vendors, supporting them in the use of platform (Tradeshift).
- Driving and closing projects effectively, meeting deadlines, KPIs, planned goals
- Providing reports on request, analyze them and draw conclusions
- Supporting BPO in day-to-day service delivery and activities related to Accounts Payable process for the assigned countries within the region
- Working closely with BPO and GBS to timely resolve discrepancies, inefficiencies and queries for related PTP issues
- Assuring compliance with the company’s policies, procedures and with local laws and regulations
- Developing and sustaining successful working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Identifying issues and using the agreed escalation route in a timely manner if an issue arises
- Managing incidents reported – driving root cause analysis until final resolution – to support implementation of process improvement initiatives and best practices
- Building business cases to turn opportunities into projects
- Conducting meetings and workshops on supervised processes
- Ad hoc tasks to improve/standardize processes defined by direct manager
