Tech Lead

Channels and Integration Unit

Our team is focusing on new IT developments in digital channels area. We run a diverse set of IT solutions in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. We are highly involved in cooperation with external partners, while also running a list of developments ourselves. You will play a key role in building Luminor’s digital channel solutions such as Internet Bank and Mobile Internet Bank. We are on our way of creation of an unique bank and are looking for a Tech Lead to drive ongoing and future development plans across the Baltics.

Responsibilities:

•  Guide technical developments in digital channels:
  • drive technical decisions in new developments
  • suggest improvements in our current solutions
  • track new technology trends, and verify their fit for Luminor
• IT solution ownership in the area:
  • follow-up technological lifecycle, and initiate required changes
  • take care of contracts and relationship with our partners (solution providers)
• Shape Luminor internal team(s) and set expectations towards our partners:
  • set expectation for the skillset of technical teams
  • keep your own skills up to date, and share know-how with the team
• Ensure effective IT development process:
  • have a good overview of IT development processes and tools, and drive improvements in the area 
  • ensure effective communication with business units, IT Operations, and external vendors; 
• Effective cross-Baltic cooperation

Skills and experience:

•  Relevant IT development experience, incl. hands-on programming experience, database creation, software design
• Strong understanding of backend and front-end technologies such as Java/ Java frameworks/ JavaScript/ React.JS/
• Application integration (REST, JMS) skills
• Have knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS
• Knowledge of the Continuous integration/delivery area (CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab etc.)
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage
• Experience with AWS cloud and cloud architecture
• Experience of managing and growing engineering teams
• Good communication skills and experience working with various stakeholders (both from business and IT development areas)
• Fluent English
