Requirements:
• 3+ years embedded firmware development experience with C / C++, Linux / Unix platform
• Experience with OpenWRT
• Wireless protocols (802.11)
• Experience with ARM/MIPS processors, embedded Linux
• Strongly need networking skill, OSI model understanding
• Ability to work productively and autonomously, whether on a small team or solo
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Git, including merging and rebasing
• BS degree in Computer Science, or related engineering degree
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience that is a Major Plus:
• Experience working with Cross Compilers
• Basic understanding of electronic circuits
Responsibilities:
Candidate will work as part of the global team of firmware, digital hardware and RF hardware engineers to develop cutting edge wireless broadband products and technologies.
Work with Qualcomm and MediaTek vendors to report bugs, perform investigations and apply patches to our WiFi driver as needed. Collaborate with other team members to build new products, solve customer facing issues and deliver the best possible product.
