DevOps Engineer

IT Camp client is the leading dynamic, targeted and automated native in-game advertising and video game monetisation platform. They're working on worldwide projects that will define the future relationship between gamers, game developers and advertisers by enhancing the gaming experience with real world, rich advertising.

The company is looking for DevOps Engineer with a background in CI/CD flows, Infrastructure as Code and modern cloud setups.

Job mission: To work with developers and product owners to design Cloud based technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations that enable business objectives.
Technology stack: Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Google Cloud Platform, scalable networking technologies as Load Balancers, Firewalls, etc., MySQL, PostgreSQL, REST API, Linux, Unix, Windows.
Team: IT team consists of 35 professionals. They develop critical product infrastructure and shape the future direction, stability and performance of the team and business.
Office: Brīvības street 214, Riga, Latvia.

Responsibilities:
- To build, manage and maintain the operational integrity and security of systems
- To maintain and improve software that scales on a large, global scale
- To help design and operate highly available software in virtual environments
- Learning new technologies and figuring out the most efficient ways to manage multiple database clusters, hundreds of hosts, and millions of operations per second (in aggregate)

Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience in DevOps
- Hands-on experience with software deployment and orchestration technologies (e.g., Ansible/ Docker/Kubernetes/Mesos) and provisioning infrastructure from code (eg., Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Experience supporting transactional database systems (e.g., MySQL/PostgreSQL/etc)
- Experience with scalable networking technologies (e.g., Load Balancers, Firewalls, etc.) and web standards (e.g., REST APIs, web security mechanisms, etc)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and system administration tasks in Linux, Unix or Windows
- Good conversational English

Will be considered as advantage:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field
- Experience maintaining Internet-facing production-grade applications and programming in languages as C#, C++, C, Java, Go, Python
- Experience with Helm charts, BigQuery, Elastic Stack or Clickhouse
- Experience using Google Cloud Platform
- Experience in writing infrastructure as code tests
