Rimi Baltic Data protection function is looking for experienced team member who is passionate about data protection and wants to be the heart of Data protection function.

In your role you will report to Rimi Baltic Groups Data Protection Officer, work tightly with other members of Data protection function, and support all business functions.

If you have/are:

• Master degree in Law;
• 2 3 years practical work experience with data protection;
• Knowledge and experience of both theoretical and practical aspects of data protection;
• Understanding of basic information technology area concepts, for example, back up, audit logs, recovery plan, development processes, different system environments etc., is desirable;
• Structured and problem, and result oriented personality;
• Responsible and committed to high ethical standards;
• Comfortable with taking responsibility and decisions, and having good understanding of priorities;
• Leadership skills, ability to lead and motivate colleagues;
• Team player and good communicator;
• Proactive;
• Fluent Latvian and English (written and spoken).

We will entrust you:

• To be part of Rimi Baltic groups Data protection function and work in close cooperation with Data protection officer;
• To facilitate and improve Rimi Baltic groups compliance with applicable data privacy laws and internal policies and guidelines;
• To lead work of training and awareness activities in data protection area, incl., develop and provide trainings, awareness materials;
• To coordinate and monitor the operational level of data protection work within Rimi Baltic group companies;
• To facilitate and support development, implementation and maintenance of data privacy governing documents, incl., embed data privacy within business areas via processes, templates etc.;
• To advise and be consulted in matters related to data protection. Assist to detect and mitigate possible data privacy risks, incl., follow up mitigation action fulfilment;
• To provide support to Data protection officer and other members of Data protection function where necessary.

Compensation:

Salary 2100 - 2600 EUR per month before taxes. Salary will depend on assessment of candidates competencies, experience and skills relevant to job requirements.
