We are now looking for an Outside Sales to join our Latvian sales team.



Your role

As Outside Sales, you will develop and manage your customer portfolio with the focus on hunting for new business. You will have an important role in achieving our commercial KPIs. You will join our sales team in our Riga office. Here’s how your future manager describes your team:

This is a permanent full-time position. The salary range for the role is 1800-2500 euros/month gross. The final salary is determined based on your experience and readiness to work in an independent sales role.


What are you going to do?

Your work will consist of versatile sales tasks, for example you will:
  • Attract new customers, prepare sales offers and close contracts
  • Maximize profitable support and growth through effective sales and quotation enquiry management: input => negotiate => follow-up => maintain
  • Communicate with line/trade management to help ensure profitable utilization of vessel capacity
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Plan and conduct commercial visits
  • Reply to customers’ transport inquiries
  • Ensure that the needed commercial data is stored correctly and timely in our internal systems.


Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate has:
  • Experience in shipping, preferably from sales, and a strong interest in working in an active sales role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills: Ability to connect with customers and work in a team
  • Proactive approach to work and ability to take initiative
  • Fluent written and spoken Latvian and English: English is the official company language and Latvian is needed with customers
  • Advanced MS Office user skills, and ability to master digital tools
